Well done to our Year 6 Spelling Bee Team. Our school came second in a very strongly contested competition with some very tricky words. After 4 rounds our school had the highest number of players left in. We then moved on to some very tricky words in the sudden death rounds. Imam was our school champion, who expertly spelled her way to securing us second place overall. Well done team and thank you to the rest of Year 6 who came along to support.
How would you have got on? The words the children were asked to spell included: conscience, guarantee, sovereign, exquisite, consistency, professionally, hesitant, vicious, dependency. Imagine standing in front of a room full of children and adults and being asked to spell some of these? Very well done to all who took part.
