Free School Meals Food Vouchers and Foodbanks

Dear Parents,

If your child receives Free School Meals, your child is entitled to vouchers whilst the school is closed AND during the Easter holidays. To claim these vouchers you need to respond to the text message we sent you with an email to the school address:

Once we have the email address, we can send the vouchers codes to you. You then need to access the voucher website, select your preferred supermarket, enter the codes and the vouchers will be sent to you.

Please note that you must redeem the voucher within three months after which the voucher will expire and you won’t be able use it to purchase groceries.

At this time, the government have only issued vouchers for pupils who are entitled to Free School Meals. This is different from Universal Infant Free School Meals. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 usually receive a free school meal. But the government vouchers are only for families that qualify for full Free School Meals entitlement because of their income.

If you would like to apply for Free School Meals please complete the online application form – you will need your National Insurance Number

If you are currently experiencing difficulties accessing food for your family, we might be able to help. We do not have food at school but there are local food banks where you can collect some food free of charge. Please try the numbers below.
