Year 4 Football Tournament

It was a cold January evening but the exciting football kept us warmed up! Our 4 Learning Partnership Schools came to join us for a Year 4 football tournament. All players from all schools represented themselves and their schools fantastically. Children demonstrated excellent teamwork and resilience alongside their great skills.
Our team performed fantastically. After winning both our first two matches, the final game was a showdown with St Werburgh’s who also had two victories. The game couldn’t have been closer with the lead changing several times. With 10 seconds to go the match looked to be heading for a draw at 3-3 until Cabot scored a last minute winner. This meant we topped the table and finished tournament champions.

Thank you to everyone who came to support. Very special thanks to Miss Kondwani who organised the tournament for us.
